ANY COLLABORATION between DJMag’s favourite fruit-loop Roisin Murphy, ex of Moloko, and electro dons Mason, aka Iason Chronis and Coen Berrier, was always going to be a hot track – and ‘Boadicea’, which will be released in early March next year on Animal Language Records, doesn’t disappoint. Even better for any fans and producers is an accompanying competition to get your own refurb of the track on the release alongside remixes from Danny Howells, Evil Nine, Tony Senghore and Human Life. What’s a refurb you might ask? Well forget stems, parts and samples, because it’s not a remix or even a re-edit. Instead, it’s your reinterpretation of the track in any style you like.
