the tech awards arrive in Birmingham


LAST YEAR’S DJMAG TECH AWARDS AT BPM, Europe’s biggest DJ event, was a phenomenal success and now we are back with a new panel of industry judges for an even bigger and better show. We will be judging eight categories live at the BPM show, back at Birmingham’s NEC on 2nd – 4th October. Your votes, which have now all been cast, will be counted and the top three products from over eight categories will go through to our amazing live Grand Final. Manufacturers will have only a few minutes to show off their kit and try to impress our well-groomed judges. There will be tears, there will be laughter, and there will definitely be glory. Our feisty judges will be demanding, and will give the reps a hard time before scoring the products on build, sound quality, features, ease of use, and all importantly value for money.

The definitive DJ poll has once again proved itself as the only poll that counts, and with this year’s epic voting figures in mind we thought 2010 deserved TWO massive awards parties on 27th October. With celebrations at Ministry, London, and Sankeys, Manchester, we have chartered a helicopter to transport the winner between the venues to make sure nobody misses out...
