The PL200M is an ideal amplifier for installations where distinct sound needs to be distributed to distinct zones in a cost-effective implementation. For example, let’s look at a mid- to large-sized restaurant. An establishment such as this might
have several zones: a dining area, waiting area, bar, bathrooms and an indoor/outdoor entry area. The restaurant could have a paging capability to let diners know their tables are ready, as well as several sources of music such as a jukebox or a satellite radio receiver. With a multisource, multizone amplifier such as the PL200M, the Jukebox can play in the bar and waiting/entry areas, the satellite radio in the dining area and bathrooms. Any pages made can be designated to go to every zone but the dining area so as to not disturb the diners. You would actually have the ability to route specific sources to specific zones as easily as pushing a button on the face of the amplifier, and, you can send more than one source to a zone. With traditional amplifiers, it would take multiple units to accomplish a less effective and more costly version of this setup.
Speco Technologies 70V Multisource/Multizone amplifier is also ideal for offices, hospitality, hotels and more. Each source has its own separate gain, treble, bass and volume controls. It features 40W RMS power output per zone for 160W total. The telephone paging function, monitor output allows for a limited music-on-hold feature, and, four sets of 4/8 Ohm/25/70V outputs in a 19” rack mount design with built-in handles (3U). The unit is also RoHS compliant.

Speco Technologies a-live™ multi-source/multizone audio systems are 6 source/6 zone networked audio distribution systems. They have 20W per channel power, local keypad controls, and some features very different from similar systems:
