during June, July and August. These two-week, free residential camps offer innovative programs to enhance stu- dent knowledge in science, technol- ogy, engineering and math, while also fostering leadership and citizenship.


CSU’s BEEP coordinator honored as Advisor of the Year The National Urban League hosted its oldest signature program, The Annual National Black Executive Exchange Program Conference and Student Leadership Institute over the summer. Forty-nine HBCU’s were represented as Ms. Kimberly Tracy Cain, CSU-CBI BEEP Coordinator was honored with the Campus Liai- son and Advisor of the Year Award. The Award was presented to Ms. Cain by Mr. Marc Morial, President and CEO of the National Urban League. This award is in recognition of extraordinary work done to culti- vate the relationships with BEEP that results in the growth and expansion of campus programs. CSU BEEP Student Ambassadors are Renault Turner, Jamaal Scott, Gabrielle Ruf- fin, Tiera Moore, Nicholas Frazier and Brian Turner.
