Our own ‘twitter’ room and more !


Our Bird Room Appeal was a success and it is now in full use. It is to be called the Jasmine room after a young girl called Jasmine Clare who sadly died earlier this year from meningitis. Jasmine, aged 7, was pictured in our local paper playing in the snow in the winter and within 36 hours she had died. She loved animals and often visited Secret World so we hope her family will be pleased to have a room that will save so many lives named after their own ‘angel’. polyurethane cages which will be so much easier to clean and disinfect than the old wooden ones. Of course with extra facilities, there is cleaning and feeding that needs to be done but we have had several volunteers that have come in to help us - but we could always do with some more. So if you would like to help with the animals, please give us a ring. It can be for a morning session, afternoon or evening.


We have also been able to increase our bird aviaries. This gives us more space for soft releases on
