Secret World has been fortunate to receive some funding from Trusts and Foundations, as well as some donations in kind. For this reason we would like to say a huge thanks to the following companies:

Neumatic International - for the donation of a Henry Hoover.

Nilfisk - for the donation of a brand new wet and dry cleaner worth £416 (it even has fixable brushes for hoovering your horse or your dog!)

Pets at Home - £5,000 donation towards Veterinary Treatment.

In addition to this, Secret World have also received a contribution towards the following items: our annual veterinary costs; new incubators; new capture equipment and towards the ongoing development of the Secret World Nature Trail.

We would like to take this opportunity to say a huge thanks to the following Trusts:

 Norman Family Charitable Trust - Secret World would like to express their gratitude to the Norman Family Charitable Trust for their generous gift of £250 to help pay for our annual veterinary costs.

 Rowan Bentall Charitable Trust - Secret World would like to express their thanks to the Rowan Bentall Charitable Trust for their kind donation of £250 to help us towards the cost of purchasing 5 new incubators. Their support in this venture is greatly appreciated.

 Walker 597 Animal Trust - Secret World would like to say a huge thanks to the Walker 597 Animal Trust for their kind support of our work with a donation of £200 to help fund the purchase for new capture equipment. This will be used by our volunteer drivers for the collection of injured wild animals in need of our support.

 The Sir Julian Hodge Charitable Trust - £1,000 donated by The Sir Julian Hodge Charitable Trust to spend on incubators.

 The Co-op Community Foundation has kindly agreed to support Secret World with a grant of £500 to help support the development of the Secret World Nature Trail. This is an ongoing programme that began in 2000 and this funding will help with the building of a new pond. This has been specifically designed to offer a variety of different habitats in order to attract a wide range of wildlife. There will be a selection of both native plants and small reed beds which will be crucial in increasing the biodiversity of insect life, which in turn will be of benefit to both wading and migrating birds. This will also serve to attract a selection of frogs, toads and crested newts (which are currently on the endangered species list) as well as a wide spectrum of butterflies, bees and moths.
