australian pop star joins the revolution at space
The launch of Carl Cox’s ‘The Revolution Continues’ was always going to be a major event, especially after a mobbed performance at the official Space opening saw him DJing overlooking the car park inside what could only be described as a giant letterbox while a three-story image of his face was projected on the front.
Joined by two of his three rotating residents for the season, Nic Fanciulli and
Umek, alongside big room minimal techno don Dubfire, it was a predictably packed crowd who crammed into the main room to watch a set of uncompromising techno floorfillers. Less predictably, the last couple of hours also saw pop princess Kylie wigging out in the VIP area. Then again, after Guetta and Black Eyed Peas, why not Cox and Kylie?
