05 Corporate Social Responsibility
DCP is committed to creating business growth whilst ensuring our impact on the environment is minimal and that all activities are conducted safely by well trained and qualified employees. The responsibility for this lies with the DCP board.
The three keys areas of Corporate Social Responsibility are:-
Environment Human Rights & Employment Ethics
DCP is committed to adopting environmentally responsible policies and these are constantly reviewed and monitored in line with our ISO14001 system.
- Waste Management
DCP believe recycling is vital for the sustainability of our planet’s resources and aims to reduce its carbon emissions wherever possible.
- Waste Minimisation
DCP works with its suppliers to have pre-sized materials delivered to site from local depots. We also have plasterboard chipping facilities that reduce the volume of waste by up to 60%.
It is company policy to adhere to all legislation relating to employment rights and equal opportunities.
We ensure all personnel are recruited, trained and promoted on the basis of their ability.
Health & Safety
DCP recognises its Health & Safety duties and responsibilities and complies with all relevant Health and Safety legislation.
A Board Director has overall responsibility for implementing and monitoring the Company’s Health & Safety policy.
