What did you do at work or college today? Whatever it was, chances are you didn’t pull a Beetle out of a scrapyard, but that’s just what Alex Bruce did almost 20 years ago while studying Car Design at University. Since then, he’s moved on quite a bit from that scrapper in need of restoration and has amassed an enviable collection of VWs including a New Beetle RSi, a 1981 T25 Karmann Gipsy, a ’67 RHD Ghia coupé, a ’54 RHD Oval and a 2.7-litre Corvair-powered Mk1 GP Buggy.
