WOODS’ STOCK

WITH A SUMMER residency for Cream in Ibiza, Michael Woods is fast towering over the surrounding canopy. Having remixed ‘Strobe’ by the unstoppable Deadmau5, he’s also been touring with the big eared Canadian, headlining the official after-party of his recent London show, was the subject of a Pete Tong 15 Minutes of Fame (as well as playing his Wonderland night), and his new remix of Kylie Minogue’s ‘All The Lovers’ topped the cool cut club chart last week. Not bad for a boy based in Hackney. Classically trained at Pimlico’s Trinity Music College, Michael’s first love was trance, remixing Energy 52’s Ibiza sunset classic ‘Café Del Mar,’ until he switched his emotional touch to the realms of big room house. As well as collaborating with Chris Lake this now means he’s fast becoming the remixer of choice for big acts with everyone from Estelle, Adele and Nate James to the aforementioned Kylie seeking out his magic touch.
