Spring Demo Day

Diamond Brand’s demo season starts with our Spring Demo Day on Sunday April 25 at Lake Julian Park from 10am to 4pm. All of our boat, paddle, and PFD vendors bring their fleets of equipment to the lake and let our customers test them all day long. Last year 435 people came out to test over 80 boats. Lake Julian is located about 10 miles south of Asheville in Skyland, 3 miles off of I-26 at exit 37. The water is always at least 72 degrees and the cove that serves as our demo site is well protected from any wind. This is the best opportunity in the area to try out the maximum number of boats with absolutely no cost.

Mini Demo Day

When beginning the process of searching for a recreational or whitewater kayak, there is no substitute for firsthand use. To make the demo process even more pain-free for the customer, Diamond Brand will be hosting on-the-water mini demos every Wednesday starting May 5th through the end of September at Lake Julian Park. There is no cost to participate in the demos; participants are simply required to pre-register by calling the store to indicate which boats they wish to demo. The boats available to demo include whitewater and recreational kayaks and canoes by the following manufacturers: Native Watercraft, Wilderness Systems, Hurricane Kayaks, Mad River Canoes, Jackson Kayak, Wavesport, LiquidLogic, and Dagger.
