dedicated customer service

Our Customer Service team are based at our head office in Pontefract, West Yorkshire. A dedicated Customer Service Executive will ensure that you always receive a prompt service from people that are familiar to you and your organisation.

delivery

All deliveries are made by our own vehicles. Special care and attention is made to ensure that the furniture is delivered to the correct individual or location and installed to the satisfaction of the customer. Delivery times are agreed with the client 48-72 hours prior and are geared towards timed (am or pm) deliveries.

All Furniture 4 – 6 weeks from receipt of order.

disposal

Disposal costs are based

on redundant items being replaced with

new items. Examples as follows: n Small items: £5.00 n Larger items: £7.50 to £10.00

(assumes the furniture is free standing and can be easily moved)

Disposal costs are based on the assumption that there are no access restrictions and that the vehicle can get reasonable access to the drop off and collection points. The above rates include all labour, transport and all disposal at our Yorkshire factory.

rejection of goods

n 24-48 hours notice of change or

rejection via fax or telephone call

n 72 hours verification of damage and cause

n Replacement 5 working days. This is after notification and verification of damage

After initial design proposal and quotation, a schedule is submitted to the client based on the product range which would best suit their requirements. Samples can be provided to allow client consultation and approval. All sample cabinets will be invoiced at time of despatch. Providing the cabinet is returned within 30 days in good condition, a credit note will be issued. However, unless by prior agreement, if a cabinet is not returned within the 30 day period, it will be deemed sold and collection of the invoice amount will proceed.

storage

Storage charges may be incurred as a result of contract delay. Please consult the sales desk immediately should you wish to re-allocate delivery.

installation

Please note that all prices are for delivery and installation to a single point of use. If you know there will be a problem with parking the vehicle for off-loading the furniture, or you have tight staircases/ doorways, we need to know as soon as possible. These problems could lead to surcharges being incurred (note that all Carleton Furniture Group’s storage units are pre-assembled).Please consult the Sales Department for further details.

There are certain restrictions to the

above, namely: n Where delivery and installation is to a variety (over 2) drop off or delivery/ installation points

n Installation surcharge will be applicable if no lifts, hoists or other mechanical means are not made

Quotation requests will be responded to accurately and fully within 24 hours of the initial request. Any queries with the quotation should be raised with the Regional Accounts Manager or Customer Services Department.

guidelines for costs

General rates

9.0% of product value

Unskilled labour

£12.75 per hour on site

Skilled labour

£18.75 per hour on site

Joinery labour

£22.50 per hour on site

Joinery labour

£27.50 per hour on site

All major fitting schemes, including joinery rates, will be charged on a job-by-job basis and all rates will be subject to a full detailed site survey.
