Power becomes first MNU alumnus to lead College Church
Rev. Richard (Rick) Power (‘78) was named senior
pastor of Olathe College Church of the Nazarene. His installa-
tion service was Feb. 28. Most recently the pastor of Honolulu

years of ministry, 16 in missions, to this role. His wife is

ministry projects, provided pastoral training and resources,
and re-established a Nazarene presence in a major creative

After completing his Bachelor of Arts in philosophy and

In addition to church planting, pastoring in Texas, Hawaii and Colorado, and represent-
ing Heart to Heart International in Asia, Power has taught undergraduate and graduate-
level university courses in History of Western Philosophy. He also is a published author on
missions, ethics and devotionals.
