Interesting work and salary are the most important factors when it comes to job satisfaction. Job security appears to have decreased in importance as some signs of recovery surface. The issues which are of most importance to men and women continue to differ slightly. Whereas men place salary (71%) and range of interesting work (70%) as their top two priorities, women place greater emphasis on having a range of interesting work (79%) and management style (74%) as their top two priorities.
