Buses
Continental Airport Express operates minivans between both Midway and O’Hare
airports and downtown hotels. Boarding zones at each airport are located outside the
baggage claim areas. The Holiday Inn Chicago Mart Plaza at 350 West Mart Center
is the first stop on the way from O’Hare to the city and the last stop from the city to
O’Hare. Reservations are required for transportation from the Holiday Inn Chicago
Mart Plaza to Midway; call 800-284-3826 or 773-247-1200 at least four hours in
advance. A one-way ticket between downtown and O’Hare costs $27; a round-trip
ticket is $50. The fare between Midway and downtown is $23 one-way, $40 round-
trip. Reservations can be made at

Elevated Trains
The Chicago Transit Authority’s (CTA) Brown and Purple line ‘L’ trains stop at the
CTA station located on the second floor of The Mart, and offer connections to all other
CTA train lines.
Blue Line trains from O’Hare Airport and Orange Line trains from Midway Airport
connect with Brown and Purple Line trains in the downtown “Loop.”

Taxis
Taxis provide service to and from both airports. Trips to/from O’Hare and downtown
cost approximately $35-40 each way. The fare to Midway is approximately $30-35.
Cab fare from downtown Metra railway stations to The Mart is approximately $5-6.
Taxi stands are located at the entrances to The Merchandise Mart and 350 West Mart
Center Drive.
Driving
From I-90/94, exit east at Ohio Street. Turn right (south) on Wells Street and drive
four blocks to The Mart (the Chicago River is on The Mart’s south side). The area has
numerous parking lots, including the MartParc Wells garage located at the corner of
Kinzie and Wells Streets. The seven-story, state-of-the-art facility contains 747 parking
spaces. Discounted parking is available at certain lots during select markets and special
