School Blitz
Coolmine RFC recently hosted a seven-a-side and fifteen-a-side
rugby blitz for St Peter & Pauls (Dunboyne), Hartstown
Community College and Portmarnock Community College U-14
and U-16 teams. Organised by Fingal County Council’s Leinster
Community Rugby Officer, Christian Stemmet, Coolmine RFC Sporting Fingal
Youth Development Officer, Richie Perkins, and Leinster Rugby’s
Jack Hanratty assisted on the day.

Having clinched promotion and won the FAI Ford Cup during a
memorable week in November, manager Liam Buckley has
strengthened his squad and put the players through weeks of
pre-season training before launching their attack on the
premier division.
Amongst the new arrivals is former Ireland international Glen
Crowe. The Blanchardstown native spent the last decade at

Shelbourne and Bohemians, collecting five Premier Division
winners’ medals, and will add vital experience and quality to the
