I’m really excited about this issue of WorkLife. 2010 is now well
underway and so too are exciting initiatives and creative
collaborations. In this issue we bring you the story of a true
‘Mumpreneur’ in We Like Your Style and place the Spotlight on
the UK’s largest enterprise challenge for 14-19 year olds.
And it would seem no sooner has the snow melted than the
nation has started searching for the green shoots of economic
recovery. Well, I interview one of the country’s most successful
entrepreneurs, Scott Fletcher to see if he thinks the shoots of
recovery have arrived. Scott founded ANS Group plc and has
been responsible for its steady growth over the last 12 years.
I delve deep into his 18 years experience in the IT industry and
you can read what he had to tell WorkLife on the subject of
success, investment and government on pages 22-24.
WorkLife continues to encourage the formation of new business
relationships as we send Liz Taylor of Taylor Lynn Corporation
(TLC) and Tom McAlpine of Mood Swings Network on a
‘2 Do Lunch’. See how they got on, pages 18-19, at Bem Brasil,
Deansgate.
Enjoy all we have to bring you in this issue and in particular,
I want to give my special thanks to our LIFE guest editor,
Camilla Blois. Camilla is not only a fashion and lifestyle expert,
but is an inspirational female entrepreneur who runs her own
successful companies. Flip the magazine over as Camilla brings
you gorgeous lingerie in ‘The Secret Life of a Showgirl’ fashion
story and The Saturdays interview.
