THE FIRST OF 17 ACC CHAMPS HONORED IN C

AMERON!
A half century ago, Blue Devil Head Coach Vic Bubas led an unheralded Duke team to the first ACC Tournament
title in school history. The 1960 Blue Devils got it rolling, as Duke has since won 17 conference tourneys (tied with
UNC for most all-time). Members of that historic team were recognized and honored during our ACC opener on
January 3rd against Clemson.

NEW RADIO SHOW DEBUTS Associate head coaches Steve Wojo and Chris Col-
lins kicked off a new radio show on January 4th. The Duke Basketball Radio Show
airs weekly on 620 AM from the Washington Duke Inn and fans are invited to attend.
SCHEYER EARNS NATIONAL PRAISE In addition to a pair of ACC Player of
the Week honors, Jon was named USBWA National Player of the Week on
December 21st for his work against Gardner-Webb and Gonzaga.
