A delightful, yet unexpected, find in the old stable yard of the town’s
former mansion house. Here, Dr Russell Rhys has created probably
the most eclectic mix of sculptures anywhere in Wales, based
mainly on Arthurian legend and the Mabinogion (a series of tales
from medieval Welsh manuscripts). ‘It’s a personal indulgence,’
says Dr. Rhys, ‘which I thoroughly enjoy sharing with visitors.’
Within the sculpture garden is a café, art gallery and craft shops.
