Many of the toxins we are exposed to daily
from our air, food and water can build up in our
bodies. When adults were tested for only 210
of the 80,000 chemicals that are used daily in
the United States, the average per person was
91. These toxins cause problems in our bodies
ranging from fatigue, depression, and head-
aches to allergies, arthritis and other auto-

Dr. Crinnion is the Department Chair of
Environmental Medicine at Southwest College
of Naturopathic Medicine and a clinical
supervisor for medical students at Southwest
Naturopathic Medical Center.
Dr. Crinnion has published several articles in
peer-reviewed journals on the topic of environ-
mental overload. He has been on the board of
directors of the American Association of
Naturopathic Physicians and was awarded,
twice, for his in-office research.
