tainable pricing. Afghanistan and Iraq have been good
for business and the energy prices have boosted oil and
gas-related charters. We’re doing well in the Middle
East, while in the US some automotive industry work is
also appearing.”
Looking to the future, The Charter Store intends to
invest more in passenger charters, while continuing to
market itself, build relationships and expand its carrier
customer network. “We have a good name out there
already,” Steiner observed, noting that he intends to
build on that over the next few years.

Ceva launches into charter
Global logistics provider Ceva has launched its new
Charter and On Board Courier Services offering.
A “dedicated team of experts” has been established
in order “to provide tailored solutions” to customer
needs, while other features of the new product include
on-board couriers delivering consignments door-to-door
as required and access to a variety of aircraft sizes
ranging from small Cessnas to the giant AN-225, as well
as exclusive agreements with small charter flight carriers.
Joe Bento, president Americas for Ceva, commented:
“As a global business, we have recognised the need to
provide this type of service to our customers, to comple-
ment our existing air freight services.”
