crInAn HotEL
Sensational sea views from every room and wonderful seafood landed 20 yards from the kitchen.
For 200 years the hotel has been the heart of the tiny fishing village of Crinan. It is a picture-perfect hamlet, perched around the
series of locks that connect the Crinan canal to the Atlantic and the Western Isles. It can be reached just 2 hours drive from Glasgow.
The Ryan family has been welcoming guests from around the world for 39 years.
There are 20 artistically decorated bedrooms, some with private balconies, all with breath-taking views of Loch Crinan
or the islands of Scarba, Jura and the whirlpool of the Corryvreckan.
Watching the sunset from the Westward Restaurant you may savour the daily catch; jumbo prawns, scallops, lobsters, turbot etc.
or if preferred, locally sourced game, meats and organic produce. Boat trips to the islands and classic yacht charters can be arranged.
Golfers head for the Machrihanish championship links course on the Mull of Kintyre. You might explore the ancient standing stones
or take a walk through the stunning scenery where wildlife abounds. Or back indoors relax in the treatment room and enjoy a wide
range of therapies.
Paintings by Frances Macdonald (Ryan) and Ross Ryan, both exhibitors in leading galleries in Scotland and London,
are on show in the Rooftop Gallery Bar.
