The company, either directly or indirectly, holds the entire issued ordinary share capital of the following subsidiaries
which principally affect the figures shown in the company's financial statements: directly MDU Services Ltd and MDU
Investments Ltd both incorporated in England and indirectly MDU Guernsey Ltd and MDU Reinsurance Ltd, an
insurance company, both incorporated in Guernsey.
The Directors of the company consider that disclosure of dormant subsidiary undertakings would result in a statement
of excessive length and have therefore, as permitted under Schedule 5 of the Companies Act 1985, dispensed with the
requirement.
