A MESSAGE FROM THE
SAN DIEGO PRIDE BOARD OF DIRECTORS
Welcome to San Diego LGBT Pride’s annual celebration. This year as in the past, Pride will
continue to give our community, events they can be proud of!
We are very excited about our theme for this year which is Stonewall 2.0 - Activism for
Equality. What excites us most is the connection between the Stonewall Activist of the past,
to today’s generation of activists. It is our belief that the many issues facing LGBT people’s
such as Marriage Equality, ENDA, Don’t Ask Don’t Tell and so many more must be addressed.
The best way to address them is with non-violent activism. It is up to all of us to proclaim the
political and historical importance of Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, and Transgender communi-
ties, by honoring our past; celebrating our present; and uniting to chart our future.
San Diego LGBT Pride is 100% committed to Human Rights Worldwide. We will not stop
until everyone is treated equally regardless of the issues. So look for our Human Rights Area

at the festival and join us in our efforts to bring this information forward so collectively and
