As director of Planned Giving, Al Taylor bears an
impressive title for an impressive individual. Al is the World
Missions administrator who guides donors wishing to include
World Missions in their last will and testament, and helps those
who want to establish endowments.
Al’s long history with the church, his familiarity with
missionaries, and his knowledge of stewardship matters make
files
him ideal for his post. His father, P.F. Taylor, was at one time a
missionary in the Caribbean.

No one could be more suited than Al to provide assistance
for those wishing to leave behind a legacy in the winning of lost
souls. Al loves to tell humorous stories, but it is evident his heart
is focused on gaining vast support for world evangelization and
he is fervent in that calling. He has written a best-selling book
on tithing entitled Proving God, and Al knows g197 rst-hand what that
entails.
For over 24 years Al was director of Stewardship Ministries
for the Church of God, and for 20 years served as chairperson
of the International Prayer Commission. He understands that
prayer and giving go together in kingdom work.
Earlier in his career, Al proved his abilities by developing

administrative assistant and announcer for the Forward in
Faith radio ministries. Among many of Al’s other recognitions
are Christian Stewardship Association’s “Top Stewardship
Professional” and “Best of the Best” awards.
A native of Danville, Virginia, Al Taylor is a third-generation
Church of God member and a “preacher’s kid.”
