Training in Ukraine
DONETSK, Ukraine: Jake Popejoy, a g191 eld representa-
tive, recently taught a three-day pastor and leaders train-
ing seminar in Donetsk. Thirty-two pastors and leaders
attended seminars on basics of pastoral counseling,
grief counseling, ministry mentality outside the traditional
church and prayer issues. The pastors were very appre-
ciative of the seminar.
Generous Gift Helps Dig
Water Well
KUYOU, Ethiopia: A gift from a donor
at the River of Life Church of God in
Anderson, South Carolina, enabled the
town of Kuyou in northern Ethiopia to
dig a water well. About 200 families from
the immediate neighborhood partnered
with Harvest Church of God to care for
the well. Since early March they have
received fresh drinking water daily. The town of Kuyou is an administrative
center for the Selale-Oromo people, an ethnic group virtually unreached
with the gospel. Through the Unreached People Groups initiative, 22 new
churches were started among the Selale people during the last four years.
