The girls have done a wonderful job of raising money for
the International Service project, SARIS, and we will be able
to visit some of the projects in August at the International
Conference in India.
This year sees Ladies Circle International celebrate its
50th year, and Circlers worldwide will be holding 50
different events to celebrate. Some will be planting 50
trees; the GB&I National exec tried 50 different crisp
flavours while trying to drink 50 glasses of wine, beer
and gin! The National Councillors in February will be in
their gold T-shirts.
I would like to say a big thank you to my Area 8 for their
support throughout my year. I truly could not have done
so much without them.
It has been great working side-by-side with Pete Manley
and the Execs in our four-club family. And it has been a
great year working side-by-side with Round Table.
