Fast-acting alarm systems in case of emergencies, to keep valuable materials safe


Reliable and safe long-term storage of valuable and sensitive samples. Depending on their size, our new ULTs have storage capacities of almost 30,000 to over 40,000 samples. Assuming an average value of $10 per sample, this results in a storage value of over $300,000, and even more for longer research projects and rare materials. Consequently, this makes safety of the utmost importance. Several integrated safety features ensure the highest level of reliability and make it easy to choose and trust the new Liebherr ULTs.

The safest long-term storage with the lowest energy consumption. High energy input is required to reach low temperatures that go down to -86°C. Liebherr’s ULTs diff er signifi cantly from standard commercial freezers in regards to both insulation and energy consumption because we use highly-effi cient systems with cascade cooling and KW refrigerant, in combination with a vacuum/foam sandwich construction.
