Solutions (EPS), an innovative energy efficiency services company. Due to the success of this program, we are pleased to continue to offer these assessments through 2015 at absolutely no cost to our members.

Since 2014, we have conducted over 394 free home performance assessments throughout KEC service territory. In addition, EPS has completed 108 home energy upgrades as a result of these home assessments. The home performance assessments, and EPS-installed or member- installed upgrades, are helping KEC members reduce energy waste, improve home comfort, ensure the safety of combustion appliances, and reduce the cost of their monthly utility bills. A free home energy assessment from Energy Pioneer Solutions now includes a free blower door test. The blower door test is one of the most accurate and thorough methods used to determine a home's airtightness. It's also the first and best step toward reducing energy waste due to air leaks. Blower doors consist of a frame and flexible panel that fit in a doorway, a variable-speed fan, a pressure gauge to measure the pressure differences inside and outside the home, and an airflow manometer and hoses for measuring airflow.
