EOS strengthens collaboration with several partner societies
The European Optical Society (EOS) is establishing new partnerships with other learned societies around the world. EOS members are able to attend most meetings organised by partner societies at member rates.
EOS renewed the agreements
with the Chinese Optical Society and Optical Society of Korea at the beginning of 2017, and is in the process of renewing it with the

Japan Society of Applied Physics (JSAP). The renewed agreements are effective until the end of 2018. The newest addition to the
European Optical Society’s partners is the Taiwan Photonics Society (TPS). TPS was founded in 1980. With more than 1,000 members, the society works with academic conferences, technical training, and the collection and publication of optical
information. The agreement is effective until the end of 2018. These agreements strengthen
the mutual collaboration between EOS and its partner societies. The agreements are made to enhance the benefits of members and to serve the international optical science and engineering community. l View all EOS partner societies and benefits here:
