With excellent transport links throughout the country, you’re never far from beautiful landscapes with rolling hills, steep mountains and stunning lochs. Roughly 95% of the population in Scotland live within a five-minute walk of a bus or train stop. Our university campuses provide plenty of green spaces where you can relax, study and hang out with friends. Equally, the friendly hustle and bustle of the city will be within easy reach, with lots of things to do when you finish class or need a break from studying. Scotland is bursting with exciting events all year round. Every year there are over 350 festivals, from the biggest music and arts events to intimate gig venues and local festivals. There’s always something new and exciting happening in Scotland. And when the weather gets colder, or ‘dreich’ as the Scots say, put on a warm hooded jacket and continue exploring!
