Chief investment officer Centrica Pension Schemes
Chetan Ghosh has been chief investment officer for Centrica’s pension schemes for more than a decade. His role covers invest- ment strategy as well as asset and manager research. He also liaises with the schemes’ investment advisers. Ghosh has 25 years of industry experience, having spent five years on the consultancy side as a pensions actuary and a further 10 years working in investment, a large part of which was at Hewitt. Before joining Centrica, Ghosh developed the fiduciary management offering at an asset manager where he gained valuable govern- ance experience in improving investment decision-making structures.
Samy Muaddi Portfolio manager T. Rowe Price
Samy Muaddi is a portfolio manager in T. Rowe Price’s international fixed income divi- sion, where he leads the Emerging Markets Corporate Bond and Asia Credit Bond strategies. He also co-manages the Emerging Markets Bond and Global High Income Bond strategies.
Muaddi has 14 years of fixed income ex- perience having joined T. Rowe Price as an associate analyst. He then became a credit analyst until securing promotion to associate portfolio manager on the emerging markets team before assuming his current role.

Krzysztof Lasocki Investment manager Royal Mail Pension Plan
Krzysztof Lasocki has helped manage a di- versified portfolio of assets for the Royal Mail Pension Plan, which is currently worth more than £13bn.
Since 2017 he has been responsible for investment strategy and implementation, investment manager selection and the day-to- day portfolio management. Consulting roles at Capita, PwC and PiRho are also on his CV.
Not only is Alan Pickering president of BESTrustees but he is also a trustee of the retirement plan for plumbers and mechanical engineers as well as for workplace scheme The People’s Pension.
His industry experience is vast having served as a non-executive director of The Pensions Regulator and a member of the Occupational Pensions Board. Pickering is also a former chair of the body that is now known as the Pensions and Lifetime Savings Association (PLSA) and held the same position at the Eu- ropean Federation for Retirement Provision. In 2002, he wrote the government-sponsored report A Simpler Way to Better Pensions.
