❱❱ Professor Steve Burnage is honoured for his achievements by the AAEES Dan uses environmental
biotechnology to achieve sustainable development at the nexus of water quality and food security. He served as major advisor
for 14 doctoral and 22 masters students, and he co-authored more than 150 peer-reviewed publications. Professor Oerther is a
licensed Professional Engineer in three states, a Diplomate of the American Academy of Sanitarians, and he is Certified by the Academy of Board Certified Environmental Professional.
He regularly consults for
industry and government (United Nations, World Bank, and others). Dan is a Jefferson Science
Fellow of the U.S. National Academies, a Lifetime Honorary Fellow of the American Academy of Nursing , and both a Fellow of the Royal Society for Public Health and a Fellow of the Royal Society for Arts in the United Kingdom where he is also registered as a Chartered Engineer, a Member of the Chartered Institute of Environmental Health and a Chartered Environmentalist.
