Barratt Homes supports Charities South Wales children’s cancer charity


Barratt Homes in South Wales is backing LATCH - by naming          cause.


The housebuilder will spend the year raising funds and awareness to help LATCH provide a range of services to support children and their families who are being treated by the oncology unit at the University Hospital of Wales. “LATCH is crucial to many young people and their families in the areas where we build homes - and we are keen to support this vital community resource in any way we can,”   director Steve Williams. “The charity provides social and welfare support to ease the     burden places on families with a child in treatment - and       thousands of people living in the area.

Wales Air Ambulance services


BARRATT HOMES has been throwing its support behind Wales Air Ambulance by raising funds and creating awareness to help the charity provide vital services to people living across the country. Established in 2001, the charity needs more than £6.5 million a year to keep its four air ambulances flying. “Wales Air Ambulance is a crucial resource, with a simple but key mission - saving time and saving lives,” said Barratt Homes’ sales director Richard Lawson. “Many of my colleagues at Barratt Homes in South Wales have been or will be helped in some way by the invaluable services this charity provides. “We recently presented the air ambulance crew with a donation of £7,568 - raised through various activities.
