Likewise an aircraft that becomes nose up or nose down will, if there is no change in the power setting, continue to feel level on account of the deceleration or acceleration generated by this change of attitude. In contrast, if a pilot chooses to increase airspeed in level flight, the additional thrust will give him/her a sensation of an increased nose-up attitude.
