Kubota unveils new model
Kubota literally took the wraps off its latest model with the launch of the new 2.6-tonne class KX027-4, which replaces the popular KX61-3. Powered by a 17.5kW Kubota diesel engine, the updated machine has a bigger
cab, increased fuel tank capacity, larger bucket pins and improved tie-down points. Suitable for movement on a plant trailer, the machine can be supplied with a cab or four-post canopy, both to ROPS/OPG (Top Guard Level I) specification. The standard model is designed for general excavation jobs. There is also a High-Spec variant which utilises ‘Aux’ oil flow with proportional flow control, and auto-shift to provide greater versatility and performance.

AJC Trailers were delighted to not only launch its new EasyCabin ECOSmart20 Xtra Air mobile welfare unit at the Show, but to receive the first order for the product from SRP Hire Solutions, which specialises in hiring portable toilets, site welfare cabins and lighting towers from its headquarters in Coningsby, Lincolnshire. The unit will be painted in SRP’s silver corporate colour. The unit provides canteen facilities for up 12 people, with a
separate toilet, drying room and a rest area, as well as an office. A heating system is incorporated that is designed to keep hot water available for up to four hours without having to start the generator, achieved through the use of a Smart Box control panel.
