Join us for our return to Lessons from Auschwitz in Poland! Ensure your students don’t miss out on this life-changing opportunity


T


he Holocaust Educational Trust is delighted to invite your students to take part in Lessons from Auschwitz, Autumn


2022. Through this unique educational experience, your students will learn about the Holocaust, one of the darkest moments in human history; they will hear directly from a Holocaust survivor; together with hundreds of other students they will visit the former Nazi concentration and death camp Auschwitz-Birkenau. Upon their return they will share what they have learnt with their peers, schools and local communities.


Important information Please note, places are extremely limited and will be offered on a first come, first served basis.


This bespoke 4-part course is open to two post-16 students in every state school in England. Please note, if your school is within an Educational Investment Area, you are eligible to apply for additional spaces.


 Places on the project are subsidised, with places available for just £59.  Projects are delivered regionally.


 There is a limited number of teacher spaces available, and these will be confirmed after student spaces have been allocated. Priority will be given to schools who have not engaged with the Project before.The Holocaust has been on the National Curriculum at Key Stage 3 since 1991. Since then, we have supported hundreds of thousands of young people in learning about the Holocaust, and to date have taken over 40,000
