An Inline Raman Spectroscopy Sensor to Elevate Your Process Analysis
As the chemical industry expands globally, the risk of chemical accidents and product recalls remain a serious concern. Traditional quality control (QC) methods, often involving time-consuming laboratory analysis, can lead to long waiting times and potential safety hazards. To address these challenges, Metrohm Process Analytics introduces the 2060 RISE, a revolutionary inline Raman Intelligent SEnsor designed to enhance process analysis, improve safety, and boost efficiency.
Ideal for every stage of your process:
1. Raw Material Identification: Instantly and accurately identify raw materials to ensure quality control.
2. Storage Tank Monitoring: Prevent long-term degradation with real-time monitoring of storage tanks.
3. Process Monitoring: Optimise your process with real-time monitoring
4. Quality Control: Detect impurities early in the process, preventing costly delays

NiroSan® Industry: piping system tested with heat pumps
Freiburg: the city in the Breisgau region is not only home to the Dreisam Stadium, but also to numerous renowned research institutes, for example in the fields of energy generation, renewable energies and materials research. One of these institutes is currently conducting high- temperature tests with the NiroSan® Industry piping system from German manufacturer SANHA®.
Steam generation with large heat pumps NiroSan® Industry is an AISI 316L stainless steel piping system produced by SANHA® in their own German factories. The tests, which are being carried out on two advanced test stands at a renowned research institute in Freiburg, are focusing on how effectively NiroSan® Industry withstands the demands of high-temperature environments – an important point for the plant operators. One aim of the tests is to generate steam using large heat pumps in the 100–150 kW power range.
