NEWS New Dublin logistics operator open for business


One of Europe’s fastest growing logistics operators, Europa Worldwide Group, has invested in its first sales branch in Ireland, Dublin to accommodate its growing international footprint. Since 2022 Europa Worldwide Group has invested more than €3.4 millon increasing its international European road freight sales network at its Europa Road division, which provides road freight services for


import and export to and from Europe.


The new branch is situated at the Spaces offices in Dublin Airport and is located close to the N1 serving as a main transport road into and out of Dublin.


The global operator, which


continues to set the pace in the market, recently reported a record turnover of €359m for the last 12 months.


It has ambitious plans for


continued investment, despite the economic situation, and believes improving logistics capacity and capabilities for a growing number of local businesses will help them navigate a changing marketplace. Fanuc introduces new cleanroom-standard

Certified to IP54-rated levels of protection against ingress of water, dust or other contaminants, the new models are perfectly suited for use in situations that require thorough clean down, also meeting ISO Class 5 cleanroom standards. FANUC recently opened its


first dedicated facility in Ireland – a 500m2


training centre and


showroom in Maynooth, County Kildare, which will provide servicing, training and cutting-edge automation technology, including the new SCARA robots.

With strong sales predicated for the year and an increase in staff planned, progress within this region is expected to increase further in 2023. Although Altus has always covered the UK and Ireland in its 21-year


history, it wasn’t until 2021 that the company made specific investment in Ireland, with a new facility and dedicated staff to cover the region. These business activities were important growth drivers and are classed as one of the company’s most significant achievements. Joe Booth, Altus chief executive said: “Seeing the progression of Ireland for Altus has been one our biggest success stories and an area that I am most proud of. What makes it even more exciting is that we have only just begun this epic journey. “We have made huge progress in Ireland, developed new growth potential and continue to build our customer base within the region.” Mr Booth said the company’s dedicated Irish team includes sales manager Gareth Fenton and senior applications engineer Michal Ostrykiewicz.
