Fujitsu General Air Conditioning UK

F

ujitsu is part of the Fujitsu Group, one of the best known and most successful engineering and electronics organisations in the world. Fujitsu

General was founded in 1936 in Kawasaki, Japan, and has grown into a successful global network. The company has been developing air conditioning systems since 1963, with products available throughout the UK from Fujitsu's authorised distributors and sales agents. Fujitsu General Air Conditioning (UK) Limited has been trading in the UK since 1986. The company designs and manufactures a broad and innovative range of air conditioning systems to provide heating and cooling for both residential and commercial environments. The company’s head offi ce in Elstree, Hertfordshire, includes a state-of-the-art training centre, designed to keep installers up to date with the latest air conditioning products and legislation. Fujitsu's comprehensive training courses and CPDs are delivered by highly experienced engineers. Courses range from simple product overviews of Fujitsu's air conditioning equipment, through to maintenance and troubleshooting exercises for VRF split and air-to-water heat pump systems. This year, Fujitsu has showcased its quality and

innovation by completeing its extensive range of low GWP R32 products. The introduction of the Designer Series wall mount sees a sleek woven facia design join fi ve other wall mounted ranges. New Economy series alternatives off er innovation and quality from a diff erent pricing persepctive, with wall mounted ranges spanning 3.5 to 7.0 kW cooling capacities and still containing high specifi cation features, such as wireless connectivity. Large capacity 8 and 10kW models have been released to meet the specifi cation requirements for projects with high loads from a wall mounted solution. The award winning new ceiling unit, has been

introduced to reduce weight, noise and dimensions from its predecessor, whilst maintaining ease of access for installation and maintence. This slim and stylish aesthetic design maintains a sound pressure level as low as 29 dB(A), made possible by a redesigned airfl ow path through the unit. Fujitsu has continued to add to

the Economy Series across its commercial range, with ceiling units, cassettes, slim line and medium static ducted units providing a selection between 3.5 and 14kW capacities. Introducing the fourth generation of Fujitsu VRF sees

increases in effi ciency and connectivity throughout the mini VRF range with the industry fi rst 50kW front discharge outdoor unit, now capable of connecting up to 42 indoor units. Simultaneous operation through AirstageTM VR-IV heat recovery products reduces operating costs through transfering energy between rooms instead of rejecting energy outside. Design fl exability is enhanced through the ability to install multiple indoor units on one Refrigerant Branch Unit port saving capital costs when serving large open plan areas. Precision refrigerant control allows room temperature to be regulated to +- 0.5oc enhancing user comfort. Fujitsu VRF systems can be utilised to provide air conditioning for a variety of high end residential, light commercial and larger commercial applications, ranging from small offi ces schools and hotels. Compact indoor units reduce the size of installation areas, while centralised remote control systems enable advanced temperature and operational management. Recent installations include the landmark Hoover building and the renowned tourist attraction HMS Belfast. Utilising the Internet of things (IoT), Fujitsu also provides services that allow users to control their air conditioning systems from their smartphones. A mobile service tool also facilitates remote monitoring of an entire system for easy maintenance error diagnosis and troubleshooting. Fujitsu are proud to be recognised as one of the leading manufacturers within the air conditioning industry. Recent accolades have recognised the industry fi rst 50kW J-IIIL celebrated as ACR product of the year, the engineer integration tool as ACR ancillary product and the Hoover Building installation as project of the year. It is due to the hard work and dedication of the entire Fujitsu team that the professional level of service and contribution to the industry is maintained.
