ince Willis Carrier developed the world’s first modern air conditioning system in 1902, Carrier have been designing tailored solutions for each

customer. Today, Carrier is a world leader in HVAC solutions. Carrier experts provide sustainable solutions, integrating energy-efficient products, building controls and energy services for all applications.

Our mission is to be the first choice for HVAC solutions, and create comfortable, productive and healthy environments. Our culture is rooted in our core values – Expertise, Innovation, Performance, Quality, Service Excellence and Sustainability.

The European Union’s F-gas Regulations mean that the industry is moving to a new generation of refrigerants with a very low global warming potential to protect the ozone layer. Carrier has introduced the next generation of refrigerants for screw compressor chillers and heat pumps. Our new range of customized solutions uses a refrigerant with zero impact on the ozone layer and nearly zero global warming potential: HFO R-1234ze.

Carrier’s wide range of Eurovent certified air conditioning solutions are suitable for new or refurbishment projects, for commercial centres, offices or industrial process. They include air cooled, water cooled and absorption chillers, with scroll, rotary, screw and centrifugal compressors from 8 to 10,500 kW cooling capacity. Our products are designed to optimise energy performance and limit the indirect release of CO2 from electricity consumption. The new award winning Carrier AquaForce® 30KAV twin screw variable speed

inverter driven screw chiller has the latest generation of Flying Bird® fan design equipped with variable speed motor, and has outstanding SEER rating of up to 5.5 in cooling mode. Our air cooled machines are equipped with the Novation® Microchannel heat exchanger which means up to 50% less refrigerant charge in our equipment compared to traditional copper/aluminium coils.

Carrier have a vast range of heating solutions: air-to-water heat pumps to water-to-water heat pumps, with heating only or reversible capability, with scroll and screw compressors from 5 to 1,980 kW heating capacity, and ability to deliver up to 85°C hot water.

We also have solutions to provide fresh air to building occupants, and improve indoor air quality levels: close control units, packaged units, as well as standard and customized air handling solutions. Carrier also has a range of fan coil units to match many requirements: hybrid, cassettes, concealed, and ducted terminals.

Located close to Lyon, in France the Carrier factory is the European Centre of Excellence for Chillers and Heat Pumps. The R&D Centre draws on over fifty years of world-class expertise. Our dedicated customization team specialises in bespoke solutions to meet needs of individual customers. The 15 test room offer a range of thermal and acoustic tests on chillers and FCUs up to 3,600kW water-cooled and up to 1,800kW for air-cooled units.
