How the Multi Gas Clip Simple works in inert environments


Detectors that use pellistor/catalytic bead type LEL sensors require oxygen to be present to perform the necessary heating process to detect combustible gas . The Multi Gas Clip Simple's infrared LEL sensor needs no oxygen to detect combustible gas. It detects with an infrared beam of light, so there is always an accurate reading in oxygen enriched or oxygen depleted environments.
