CMD launches 48-hour turnaround on Betatrak rapid ordering service
CMD Ltd, the specialist in power distribution systems, workstation power and monitor arms, has launched a rapid ordering service for its Betatrak underfl oor powertrack distribution systems and accessories, with a commitment to delivering within 48-hours of an approved purchase order*.
T
he service enables customers to order up to 50 lengths of Standard or Clean Earth (C/E) low noise Betatrak, along with up to 25 feed units and 10 fl exible corner kits, and includes delivery scheduling to a nominated address.
Stephen Roberts, head of sales at CMD, explained: “Many projects are still catching up due to the pandemic and often new projects have a rapid start on site, so electrical contractors need product quickly. Our goal is always to work in partnership with electrical wholesalers and contractors to help them overcome challenges – we do that through market-focused product development but also by tailoring our service around our customers’ operational needs. “As a UK manufacturer with plenty of stockholding capacity, CMD is able to
off er this new 48-hour service and we are certain that it will provide a lifeline to contractors who might otherwise have to face costly delays while waiting for powertrack.”
The new 48-hour service means that purchase orders received before 12pm Monday - Friday will be scheduled for same day dispatch, while those received after 12pm will be dispatched the following day. All standard lengths of Standard and Clean Earth (C/E) low noise Betatrak are included in the 48- hour commitment, but there is a minimum order quantity of 10 lengths when ordering 3.6m lengths of Betatrak.
CMD will process purchase orders for the rapid service in the order in which they are received, and the 48-hour service level commitment is only valid for one purchase order per customer within any 48-hour period. Stephen added: “Betatrak has been designed to be fast and simple to install and, with this new rapid service it’s also fast and simple to procure too.” * terms and conditions apply.

In recent years, through this level of continued investment, WISKA has produced the COMBI 407, 304, 206 and 1610 models. Since its launch in 2018/19 the COMBI 206 has taken the industry by storm, culminating in winning Best New Product at the EW Awards in 2021. The smaller design was the result of listening and speaking with contractors who were after a discreet enclosure to place behind LED lighting, CCTV systems and general outside use. The success of the 206 has only further cemented the COMBI’s place as the junction box of choice for electricians across the UK.
