ANSMANN is a German system supplier specialising in the development and manufacture of individual and mobile power requirements. It has over 20 years experience producing rechargeable batteries, battery packs, primary batteries, chargers and power supplies.
The company develops all components for hardware and software as well as mechanical data, according to customer requirements. It also certifies the systems used and works for equipment manufacturers in drive systems and medical markets. The portfolio ranges from standard system to user-interface with CAN bus, SM bus, PM bus and I²C.
In addition to bespoke systems for mobile energy, the company manufactures
rechargeable batteries and battery packs (NiMH, Li-Ion, Li-Po), and primary batteries (lithium and alkaline). It supplies system solutions (battery packs and chargers) according to medical standards and develops power supplies and charging solutions (battery chargers and power supplies). Development facilities and manufacturing are located in Germany and China. Logistic centres are in Europe and Asia. In the UK there are sales, technical and logistics teams who can modify standard products to suit customer requirements as necessary. AP Technologies is a distributor of optoelectronic components supplying an extensive range of cutting-edge technologies from leading European, US, Japanese, Taiwanese and South Korean manufacturers used in a wide range of industrial, scientific, military and medical applications. Light sources: High power thru-hole and surface mount LEDs and VCSELs from 230nm (UVC) through visible into near infrared and SWIR, alongside LED systems for illumination, curing and hyperspectral Imaging (HIS). Our singlemode Distributed Feedback (DFB) lasers span 1020nm to 1550nm and includes devices rated at 250mW CW and picosecond pulse seed lasers; whilst singlemode Semiconductor Optical Amplifiers (SOAs) and Reflective SOAs with output of up to 1W cover 1060nm to 1595nm. We have high power multimode lasers from 405nm to 1940nm including “triple junction” 1550nm devices rated at 100W peak. For mid-infrared, steady-state and pulsable Thermal IR Emitters are blackbody sources with outputs from ~1–10µm. Time-of-Flight (ToF) solutions: Direct and indirect ToF sensors operating from ~1cm to 100m and full VGA resolution wide field-of-view 3D Depth Cameras. Detectors: Silicon photodiodes optimised for XUV/Electron sensitivity, UV and visible/NIR; Silicon Photomultipliers (SiPMs); and PbS/PbSe detectors sensitive to from 1–5.5µm. We also supply multi-channel amplification electronics and Data Acquisition systems for use with APD and SiPM arrays. Spectrometers: Optimised for integration into a wide range of instruments with wavelength ranges 180–1100nm, 900–1700nm, 180–1700nm and 900–2500nm. We have ultra-compact microspectrometers; high performance ambient and TE-cooled compact models and high-resolution instruments. Liquid crystal components: Fast optical shutters, polarisation controllers and variable Neutral Density filters. Fibreoptic Systems: Direct laser diode and doped-fibre instruments such as erbium and ytterbium doped fibre amplifiers, broadband ASE sources and fibre fault locators.
