The trio are eager to monitor the impact on the supply chain, and gather statistics that enable effective representation and advice. Recruiter, Robert Walters, has conducted a survey in which half of women claim opportunities are not made available to them in the workplace. A third surveyed claim that work and family commitments act as a key barrier to progression within their respective industries.


Statistics from the Global Engineering Capability Review show that lack of available data hampers action on safe and innovative engineering. Countries are struggling not only with the quantity of skills, but quality too, and the UK are lagging behind in the supply of skilled engineers.


A Dropbox survey has revealed that monotonous administrative tasks are undermining business productivity and dampening innovation within the manufacturing industry. Better collaborative working, whether that be with humans or robots, are said to be a way of addressing the problem.
