Bottling and labelling

machines for any production line

Berlin Packaging UK offers a wide range of bottle packaging equipment to enable a full production line – no job too small

B

ottle machinery falls under three diff erent types of classifi cation, which require a diff erent level of skill to operate: benchtop,

semi-automatic and fully automatic. Each machine is designed to increase overall production and meet increasing sales volumes, depending on demand.

Bottle cappers and case packers Born as a bench or laboratory capping machine, Berlin Packaging UK’s TSP-2002 can produce 1000 bottles per hour, and needs only one operator. Bottle cappers can be used with commercial ROPP, T-Cork & GPI capping machine, a perfect addition to any bottle packaging product line. The S/A PNEUMATIC capping machine is also simple to use. The commercial capsule applicator for glass and plastic bottles is designed to make the application of capsules fast and effi cient. These machines make a perfect addition to any bottle-packaging production line. In addition, the machines can place and shrink capsules onto the desired bottles. Case packers are perfect for cardboard to enable product transfer from the gripping surface toward the inside of each container. To help the carton production, these machines contain a centring device inserted into the packaging box after the empty cartons have been entered. Respectively, the case packers can be equipped with one or more gripping heads. Gripping heads can be used with magnets, pliers, suction cups and pneumatic bells.

28 July/August 2022 | Automation QuickBox options

QuickBox is the new generation of packaging machines from Berlin Packaging UK. With up to 20 cycles/minute QuickBox is one of the fastest packaging machines on the market. Its modular format off ers between one and six number of heads. Although equipped with brushless motors, the QuickBox also comes in a lower-cost version with asynchronous motors.

Liquid fillers Liquid fi llers are fast and effi cient fi llers for bottles, jars and containers, based on the power of gravity for production. The machine is made of stainless steel (AISI 304), with the mainframe being placed on adjustable feet that are built into the bottom and made from a resistant material. For safety and protection, the shell is also built according to CE standards for a solid structure. Safety devices stop the machine from preventing the bottles from breaking and the machine from getting damaged. The fi lling machines can be provided with a CIP system, dummy bottles for fi lling valves, sanitising and neck support or neck-handling systems for PET bottles. The production rate is from 500 to 10,000 bottles per hour.

Palletisation

Berlin Packaging UK’s range of palletisation and de-palletisation machinery helps with the logistics side of the bottle production line. Palletisers are helpful in small production lines because

they avoid the heavy manual job and increase the overall safety of the workers. In the fast production lines, palletisers are a perfect investment.

Berlin Packaging UK builds automatic palletisers for small and fast production lines. The range starts with the cartesian palletisers and ends with the fast robot layer palletisers, passing through the traditional single- or double-column machines. For canned products, there’s a range of magnetic head palletisers.

Bottle rinsers Bottle rinsers are used for any size project. The machines can clean up to ten bottles at any one time, and can work with any liquid. The bottle wax machine range consists of Sincera 1-4, with Sincera 1 being designed for one bottle and productions between several hundred and 3000 bottleswwww per year. The standard version seals bottles from 0,75l to 6l, with just one machine. The Sincera 2 model has been designed to handle two bottles and is recommended for productions of between 2000 and 5000 bottles per year. Manual timers allow to set up immersion and cooling times and, for optimal results, a thermoregulator allows manual temperature setting.

The Sincera 4 bottle machine is a model with a four-bottle capacity, suitable for productions of over 3000 bottles per year.
