y integrating two sensors into one device, the O2U5 2D vision sensor allows for the simultaneous analysis of surfaces and contours, along with reading QR codes and characters. This dual functionality ensures comprehensive quality control
during production and final assembly processes. Engineered for simplicity, the O2U5 vision sensor features multiple interfaces, including IO-Link, ensuring seamless integration with diverse controllers. Its intuitive software, equipped with application wizards and
SENSOR OFFERS EASE-OF-USE AND COMMISSIONING
ensor manufacturer BAUMER continues to expand its range of Smart Vision code and text reading sensors with the introduction of the IDC230. Developed for various tasks across the packaging, electronics and food processing industries, the IDC230 is also capable of high technology tasks in assembly and track and trace intralogistics. Following on from the success of the recently launched IDC200, the ultra- compact IDC230 is characterised by the same ease-of-use and commissioning features
Unlike most conventional code and text readers, the IDC230 set-up does not require any specialised software, so the time-consuming installation process using IT specialists is eliminated. The combination of smart installation accessories, a sophisticated, yet simple user menu ensures quick and hassle-free commissioning. Using the USB-C port enables the multi-code reader to be easily connected to a computer and activated code readers of the IDC family can be easily integrated into existing systems and The readers’ bright integrated lighting is ideal for challenging applications, eliminating the need for external illumination along with the associated time and costs. The IDC230 is suitable for industrial automation applications that require simultaneous text reading, for example label inspection.
