NEW CORE Side Stream Magnetic Filte

n today’s industrial landscape, maintaining system performance is crucial. The CORE Side Stream Filter, proudly manufactured in the UK, offers an innovative solution to enhance system filtration by

effectively removing dirt and debris. Partnering with a manufacturer which has over 100 years of experience in magnetics, CORE has developed a state-of-the-art product that ensures reliability and efficiency as standard. One of the standout features of the unit is its reusable stainless

steel mesh filter. Unlike traditional systems that require costly replacement cartridges, this design eliminates ongoing expenses, making it a cost-effective choice for businesses. The CORE range also offers an insulation jacket to fit the side stream filter, which minimises heat loss and maximises energy efficiency. The unit’s low-pressure drop design enhances efficiency by having minimal impact on system flow. Its customisable inlet and outlet positions make installation quick and easy, making it a user- friendly choice for facilities of any size. Available exclusively through SBS,

Elta Celebrates 50th Anniversary by Welcoming Back Founding Directors John Snape and Roger Crook

E

lta, a leader in air movement solutions, brought its founding directors John Snape and Roger Crook back to their roots at Elta’s Fareham factory to commemorate the

company’s 50th anniversary. Founded in 1974, Elta began by producing single-phase, long-cased axial fans and fans for commercial ovens under the name 'Low Temperature Applications’ or ‘LTA’. Over the last five decades, the company has grown from a small startup to an internationally recognised name, thanks to the visionary leadership of its founders. John and Roger’s return signifies a full-circle moment for the company, bringing back the innovative spirit and strategic insight that originally propelled Elta to success. To coincide with its 50th anniversary, Elta announced its rebrand from ‘Elta Fans’ to ‘Elta’ at the start

of this year, alongside its new ethos ‘Air Movement, Air Quality’. Today, Elta manufactures a range of ventilation solutions including fans, air handling units, acoustic equipment, and ancillaries. “It has been a pleasure welcoming John and Roger back to Elta this year, and it was fantastic to hear

them recount their stories and incredible success with the current team,” said Damian Buxton, CEO of Elta UK. “Their return came at a pivotal time as we celebrate our 50th anniversary and look ahead to the next chapter of our journey. They truly pioneered the way with their entrepreneurialism.” John and Roger expressed their enthusiasm about returning to the factory that had been purpose

built prior to their retirement, and reuniting with long serving staff members they worked with during their time. The founding directors were also equally impressed with how Elta’s range and capabilities have expanded. This includes being able to offer ATEX (explosion proof) smoke extract fans for highly specialised applications, along with new technology and recent investments to support this growth. Earlier this year, Elta installed a new 6kW Auto Loading Laser machine that automates processes involved in production, to further enhance the business’ efficiency. John said: “It’s an honour to return to Elta during such a significant year. To think that we started the company by building long-cased axial fans, to now producing highly bespoke and customisable ventilation equipment used in so many different markets around the world is amazing.” Roger commented: “It’s remarkable, especially when I think of how it all started assembling fans in

my garage. Elta will always hold a special place in my heart, and it’s fantastic to come back and see how it is continuing to grow. The new machinery, investment, and forward planning goes to show that Elta is in great hands for the future.” As Elta celebrates its 50th anniversary, the company remains committed to its core values of innovation, quality, and customer satisfaction.
