H
ello and welcome to the July/August issue of Electrical Engineering magazine where this month we look to the latest Test & Measurement solutions and identify the newest research coming from the Safety in Engineering sector, where this is still much to be done to improve the safety
for workers. We have a specialist article on why culture is key, and how to ensure the right fit when it comes to employing new electrical team members. We also look at new Batteries & Chargers technologies and in our Energy Efficiency feature, we highlight the changing landscape of data centre energy storage, as well as the cutting-edge sustainable options available. This will be my last issue as Editor of Electrical Engineering. It has been a pleasure working with you all and this glorious industry over the last few years. There have been big challenges and even bigger technical advances, as the sector has thrived throughout huge global shifts, and moved towards a more sustainable way of working. I have no doubt the best is yet to come. The new editor for this title will be Simon King. If you would like to write for the magazine on any given topic within the industry then please don't hesitate to get in touch with them. This is your industry and as ever we want to offer you a platform to speak and engage with opinions from the marketplace. Please get in touch with Simon by calling 07973 386724 to discuss editorial opportunities. In the meantime, please enjoy reading this issue of Electrical Engineering. I hope you find it informative, intelligently curated and inordinately useful.
