VERTIV AT DATA CENTRE WORLD 2026: SHAPING THE FUTURE OF AI-DRIVEN
BY ALEX BREW,
VICE PRESIDENT OF REGIONAL SALES EMEA, VERTIV
redefining operational paradigms, Vertiv takes its place as a key influencer at Data Centre World 2026, part of the broader Tech Show London event. On March 4-5, 2026, this gathering brings together industry leaders to explore the pressing challenges of scalable, efficient and reliable IT infrastructure. Vertiv is set to deliver insightful sessions that demonstrate its expertise in navigating the AI boom. Through a series of keynotes and specialised panels, Vertiv representatives will share their experience and knowledge on how the industry must adapt to unprecedented demands, from extreme densification to ecosystem-wide collaboration. Vertiv will also be showcasing the latest advancements in power, cooling and critical digital infrastructure in the VIP Lounge, stand #DCW5, offering visitors the opportunity to learn from its team of experts, explore its pioneering products and connect with the company’s leadership team. Vertiv’s talks kick off on March 4, from 11:05 to 11:30 in the Design & Build theatre, when Nash Maharaj, Senior Solutions architect, EMEA at Vertiv will present a solo session titled “Building Tomorrow’s Data Centre: Exploring Prefabricated Infrastructure Solutions for AI, HPC and High- Density Data Centres.” This talk explores the transformative potential of prefabricated

solutions, which offer seamless integration for high-density applications. Nash will discuss advantages like reduced deployment times, enhanced scalability and improved efficiency in handling AI and HPC demands. By showcasing real-world examples, the session will demonstrate how these modular approaches minimise on-site construction risks and accelerate time-to-value, making them ideal for operators facing tight timelines and escalating power requirements.
Continuing the momentum on the same day at 14:05 to 14:30, Jon Abbott, Technologies Director, colocation and hyperscale EMEA, at Vertiv, will be delivering a keynote. The talk, “The Technology Trends Shaping the Future of the Data Centre,” draws from Vertiv’s Frontiers report. It will outline macro forces propelling data centre innovation, starting with extreme densification driven by AI and HPC workloads. Jon will explain how data centres are scaling to gigawatt levels at unprecedented speeds, treating facilities as unified units of compute in the AI era. A key focus will be silicon diversification, where infrastructure must adapt to a broadening array of chips and computing architectures. The report identifies five pivotal trends impacting specific areas of the data centre landscape, such as advancements in cooling technologies and modular designs to support diverse workloads. Under the banner of “Global Strategies, People, Environment & Innovation” within the event’s Sustainable Data Centres track, this keynote will discuss trends expected through 2030 and beyond.
Attendees will gain a roadmap to ready their operations for future demands, emphasising efficiency amid escalating energy demands. Vertiv’s insights reflect its dedication to efficiency and innovation, aligning its offerings to help customers reduce their carbon footprints.
On March 5, Vertiv’s presence moves to the Operational Transformation theatre with Jaclyn Schmidt, service offering director EMEA at Vertiv, presenting from 10:45 to 11:10. Titled “Design Decisions that Define Success.” Jaclyn will explore how successful deployments hinge on early-stage planning, where intentional choices anticipate challenges and lay foundations for enduring performance. The talk will cover evaluating trade-offs, analysing failure modes, and balancing risk with reward to create future- ready systems.
Key themes include optimising thermal and operational parameters for performance, efficiency and resiliency without sacrificing reliability or uptime. Jaclyn will stress the importance of consistency under real-world conditions, advocating for modular, scalable architectures within cohesive ecosystems. This approach enables components to integrate and evolve together, positioning systems to adapt to innovations like advanced AI algorithms or next- gen hardware. Vertiv’s comprehensive involvement at Data Centre World 2026 highlights its leadership in critical digital infrastructure. By addressing AI’s disruptive force through industry panels, trend forecasts, prefabricated innovations, and design best practices, Vertiv not only shares its knowledge but also inspires action. As data centres evolve into intelligent compute powerhouses, Vertiv’s contributions reinforce the need for holistic strategies. Attendees departing the event should be better equipped to tackle the AI-driven future, with Vertiv at the forefront of this transformation. In an era where data is everything, Vertiv helps its customers to run their data centres efficiently, resiliently and responsibly.
